1843 to 1914, Hueglin, Frederika Wilhelmina
Frederika
Wilhelmina (Minnie) Hueglin, the third of Johann Jacob and Kathrin Stengel's
children, was born in Berlin Ontario in 1842, married Philip Jacobi before
1867, and died in 1914 of arteriosclerosis while living at 151 Walmer Rd,
Toronto ON. She is said to be buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto. In
the 1881 Census of Ontario she is shown as Emma Jacobi, age 34. This would
imply she was born in 1847. In the 1901 Census of Toronto she is shown as Minnie
Jacobi, widowed, age 68, born 1843 in
Ontario, racial origin German, religion Lutheran, parent of Minnie Jacobi age
24, Emile Jacobi age 22, and Ida Jacobi age 19. Assuming the date shown for her
birth is correct, her age should be shown as 58.Of interest is the fact that,
as shown below, she is variously referred to as Wilhelmine Rugele, Fredericka
Whitchima Hagelin, Freidericke W Jacobi, Whilemina Hueglin, and Fredrica
Hugulin.
Philip

findings, 5 Wellington Street East, established the business in 1869 at 103
Yonge Street. In 1877 he removed to his present locality, the building
